Kendall received her Masters of Acupuncture degree and certification in Chinese Herbal Medicine from the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture. She practices acupuncture in the tradition of her teacher, Laura Stelmok, of the Virtue of Heaven/Earth, an institute to preserve the tradition and practice of 5 Element Taoist Acupuncture. Kendall is a certified practitioner of Hoshindo Japanese Meridian Apitherapy through Voyce Durling-Jones Sensei at the Hoshindo Healing Arts Institute. She began her training in Chinese Medicine through the study and practice of qigong, a branch of Chinese Medicine that uses meditative movement to cultivate and harmonize the vital life force within the body, mind, and spirit. Prior to her introduction to Chinese Medicine, Kendall was practicing in the Western tradition of herbal medicine, initially training at the California School of Herbal Medicine, followed by training and apprenticeship with several master herbalists. She received a Bachelor of Science in Health Studies from the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture, and a Bachelor of Arts in Art & Cultural Studies from New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study.
